First Boy Leaves the Nest

Tips for Coping with Your First Boy Leaving Home

This past week I had a customer ask if we were going out of business. Not going to lie, this year has been tough for me. We've had so many changes in our life/business since the spring and I've been so distracted. The biggest change for me was packing up my first born son and moving him across the country. He left Texas and moved to Idaho to attend Boise State. Y'all. THIS. WAS. SO. HARD. Seriously threw myself into a tailwind. But, I survived and he's living his BEST life. But man was it HARD on my mama heart.

I didn't realize how distracted I was and ZZS really suffered through it. But, I made it to the other side and I've been working for the past few weeks to get us back on track.

We have SO many new fall arrivals in the pipeline from some of our favorite brands and I know you're going to love them all. Thanks for sticking it out with us. We are NOT going out of business, I've just been in the bubble of mom life but it was where I needed to be.

Until next time,

I felt the same when I took my youngest daughter to college and she only went to Austin! We live in Victoria, so only a couple hour drive to see her, but man, like you said, it was hard!

My son went into the Navy, and I felt like I was just going through the motions while he was at boot camp. I think we got a total of 3 calls. Moms will definitely understand. One thing I learned a long time ago is God first, family 2nd, and business 3rd. Blessings!!!
